Learn how to find and unlock the Horse God Malanya, the fifth, hidden Great Fairy Fountain...

Dragon Locations

While it is true that there are only four Great Fairy Fountains in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there is actually a fifth quasi-Fairy Fountain in the southern region of Hyrule. This fifth fountain is a bit different from the others, however, in that the inhabitant is actually a god rather than a fairy and the advantage Malanya gives is not upgrades to your armor. Malanya is the Horse God for a reason and will be very beneficial to those who have a problem with killing off or losing their horse.

Back From the Dead

The first step in bringing your horse back from the dead is finding the Horse God Malanya. You can teleport to the Lake Tower and head southeast. There are areas called Lake of the Horse God and Horse God Bridge. All of this is situated around two small hills south of the Highland Stable and the Ka'o Makagh Shrine. Once you reach the bridge area, take the bridge to the east and find the spring at the end of the path to find Malanya Spring. This is where you will find the Horse God Malanya. You will have to pay him 1,000 rupees to "awaken" him but after that he'll revive any dead horse for free.
